A nice Thomas and Thomas Paradigm bamboo fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #3007. Lawn cast only condition. Impregnated model. Medium fast semi full flexing action. Mirrored tips. Typical large T&T swell with oven tempered cane with darker nodes in a three up node pattern. Honey color main wraps with light brown edges. Carbide stripper and black snake guides. The swiss ferrules are oxidized and retain 99% of their original color. The males have a collar. The ferrule fit is good as new and the rod is factory straight. The grip is 5 1/2" long and shaped to a large cigar profile, tapering down to the swell at the front. The seat features a perfectly varnished walnut spacer that's flatted for the reel foot, with cap and ring hardware. The cap has the "Thomas and Thomas, Makers" stamp and retains 100% of the oxidation, however the clear coating has flaked off in a few spots. The bag is a light tan poplin with a stiffener and the original aluminum and brass tube with the T&T "care of your rod" card.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
