The reel is in excellent though it does show a bit of very light wear around the rim of the spool and frame. the reel is left-hand wind only. The cork drag is smooth and strong. Handsome rosewood handle. Abel reels are known for their quality and craftsmanship. The reels are the perfect intersection of classic reel design with modern innovations. Rated for line weights 1-3 weights though also well suited for a 4 weight line. The reel weighs 5.65 oz. with line and backing. Diameter: 2 3/4". Spool width: .725". Reel comes with original Abel reel case and SA WF4F line and backing. The line is in like new condition. Don't miss out on this modern classic!
