For sale here is an Abel No. 1 fly reel. Serial no. 381. Made in the USA. The reel is in near mint condition with only the lightest of wear to the foot. The cork drag is smooth and strong. LHW only. This No. 1 is a bit unique in that the serial number and model are not white as seen on most Abels. The locking nut is also not knurled The reel weighs 8.20 oz. with line and backing. Diameter: 3.25". Spool width: .80". The reel comes loaded with WF5F line, and backing. Both in like new condition. Also includes original Abel case.
