For sale here we have an Abel TR-1 fly reel. Reel is in excellent+ condition. Made in USA. The click drag is smooth and has a nice sound, not too loud. Reversible for RHW or LHW, easily changed. Reel is currently set up for LHW. Abel reels are known for their quality and craftsmanship. The reels are the perfect intersection of classic reel design with modern innovations. Reel weighs 5.35 oz. with line and backing. Diameter 2 3/4". Reel comes with Rio Trout LT WF4F line and backing. The line is in excellent, like new condition. Reel also comes with original Abel reel pouch and spare drag spring.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
