A Terry Ackland bamboo fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #3 line. 3.6 ounces. Mint, unfished condition. Very fast action and I'd be tempted to try a #4 line on it as well. The finish appears to be a kind of matte oil finish. Blonde cane. Dark maroon wraps. Carbide stripper and dark snake guides. Oxidized Super Z swiss style ferrules. The rod is straight across the ferrules but shows a slight twist to the left at the tip tops. The ferrules are fitted with a ferrule plug. The grip is a medium blunt cigar 5" in length. The reel seat is a varnished birdseye maple with a mortise and a narrow nickel silver slide band and a formed pocket cap of nickel silver. Tan cloth bag. The rod tube is either black paint or possibly anodized and has heavy brass fittings.
