A Gary Howells bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #4804. The rod weighs 3.2 ounces on my scale. Used, but well taken care of. The rod is still straight and ferrule fits are excellent. Very modest hand soiling to the grip. The action is on the slower side of medium. Light chestnut color oven tempered cane with darker nodes in a 3-up pattern. Carbide stripping guide and chrome snake guides. Brown main wraps with yellow edges. The varnish is in excellent condition. The cork grip is 6" long and turned to a Western profile with a hidden pocket cap. Varnished zebra wood spacer under an uplocking aluminum screwlock. The rod packs into a red cloth bag with an aluminum tube with Gary’s data sticker in 100% original condition.
