A nice Hardy Palakona bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #6 line. The rod weighs 3.6 ounces on my scale. Mint unfished condition. the action is a tiny bit into the slow side of medium. Wheatstraw color cane with a three up node pattern. Black main wraps with green edges. Chrome snake guides. Oxidized step ferrules. The grip is 5 1/2" long and tapers at the nose to the front cork check. The all cork reel seat has an aluminum slide band and pocket cap. The aluminum bottom cap is stamped "Made by Hardy, England". The ferrules have the original factory fit and the rod is perfectly straight. The rod packs into a heavy blue cloth bag and a large aluminum tube.
