A nice HL Leonard Duracane model SDF salmon fly rod, 9', 2-piece, 1-tip and built for a #9 line. 5.6 ounces. No serial number. Fast action. Medium dark flamed impregnated cane. Green wraps. Two carbide stripping guides and carbide tip tops. Chrome guides, one guide on the tip has been re-wrapped and not fully revarnished to the original standard. Polished step ferrules. 7" western style grip with a hidden pocket cap. The uplocking square thread polished aluminum screw lock has a unitary nut with the stamp "H.L.L., H.L. Leonard Rod Co, Makers" in a cartouche. There is a 2" long fixed butt extension. Non original bag but the aluminum tube with brass fittings looks original to me, though there is no data sticker.
