A nice two-handed Kispiox model fly rod from Bob Clay, 12'6" 3-piece, 2-tip spliced joint rod. I believe Bob lists this as being built for a #8/9 line. When mounted and taped this rod has a pleasantly crisp action (I could imagine Jonas, the Spinoza speycaster, throwing a nice Scandi line with this). Hollow-built in a 2-up node construction. "Riverwatch", "Kispiox Valley 12'6" 100CB", and "06086" lettered on the butt section shaft. Made in 2006. Lightly flamed cane with light brown main wraps with darker brown edges. Agate stripper. Standard snake guides. The mid section has a large scratch above the first guide which it might be a good idea to varnish over (I suspect this was not a hook dig but perhaps from a fall or non-fishing related knock). There is also a small hook dig above another mid guide. 15" sculpted foregrip, aluminum screwlocking reel seat over a cedar spacer, with a 4" bottom grip and end button. Comes in a brown corduroy rod bag and a green crackle paint rod tube with the Riverwatch logo on it.
