Orvis Battenkill Salmon Rod 8'6" 2/2 #9

A nice Orvis Battenkill fly rod 8'6", 2-piece, 2-tip rod built for a #9 line. No serial number. Medium action and listed as weighing 5 1/8oz. Brown colored cane with brown wraps. Carbide stripper and chrome guides. Oxidized step ferrules. 6 1/2" slim cigar grip. Anodized downlocking screw lock with detachable fighting butt. The rod is straight and ferrule fits are good. The fighting butt plug is currently locked in place (I can't get it out) and shows signs of having pliers applied to it. Original bag and tube with data sticker.
