A nice Bob Summers Model 735 fly rod, 7'3", 2-piece, 2-tips, and built for a #4 or #5 line. 4 ounces. Mint condition with no signs of use whatsoever. DF action. Flamed and oven tempered cane done in a two opposed node pattern. Top shelf varnish work from Bob. The wraps are light brown with black edges. The stripper is a red agate and the snake guides are dark. The step ferrules are oxidized. The grip is 6" long and turned to a western style. The reel seat is comprised of an inletted ring and a nickel silver pocket cap stamped "RW Summer Co, Traverse City, MI, USA". The spacer is a mortised, stabilized redwood burl. The tan cloth bag has Bob's logo sewn on as well as the ferrule plug. The tube is grey frost-coated aluminum with Bob's handmade and distinctive brass hardware.
