A very scarce AL Walker Model 100 salmon reel in 2/0 size, 3 3/8" diameter and set up for RHW. Excellent used condition free of any major defects with very minor cosmetic wear throughout. The frame, spool, sideplates, and so forth are in terrific shape. Mechanically the reel is great, with a nice smooth click and a strong drag when adjusted to the upper settings. Single action retrieve. The serial number "652" is stamped into the side of the foot crossbar, and the model "100" and size "2/0" on the underside. The reel packs into an excellent block leather case which appears to be original (it has the initials "GMM" pressed into the top of the lid). A very nice example of this model!
This reel comes from the collection of Dr. Earl Fleegler, a passionate angler and well-known collector in the fly fishing community as well as a renowned hand surgeon. Dr. Fleegler was close friends with a number of angling luminaries including Tom Maxwell, Vince Marinaro, and Stan Bogdan (among others) and devoted considerable effort to collecting some of the finest tackle available from masters of the craft.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
