A Bogdan 00 salmon reel 3 1/4" diameter and set up for RHW. This 00 was one of Stan's lighter models, designated to hold a #7 line for grilse or large sea trout. It weighs 9.9 ounces on my scale. Mint unused condition. Silver anodized frame and spool with black sideplates and clear anodized crank, foot, oil port cover, poacher's knob, and Bogdan nameplate. 2:1 multiplying retrieve. The backplate has the original owner's name engraved in a small script, along with an engraved caricature of Al Ellis, a well known figure in the Arizona fly fishing community, who, I am told, helped procure reels for friends and customers. The reel packs into the original brown leather drawstring pouch.
