Charlton 8450C Fly Reel with 7-8 Spool

A nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with a 7/8 spool. Set up for RHW but can be easily reversed to LHW. Good used condition with some scuffing on the frame edge and a little minor cosmetic rubbing here and there. Exceptional quality and the intelligent configurable design that these reels were known for. With the quick change of a spool you can alter both the weight of the reel and line with appropriate backing capacity, and swap in one of the 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 weight options. Carbon fibre disk drag system. Type III anodization for maximum saltwater protection. Oversized 5/8" smooth-riding aerospace bearing with a complete enclosure of all mechanical components to protect against contamination from the elements. The reel packs into the original green cordura pouch.
