Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 4"

A Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel, 4" diameter and set up for the typical RHW. Duplicated MKII check. Excellent overall condition, with the only drawbacks being the finish that has been mostly removed from the winding plate. The reel is great otherwise, with no major defects and is nice and tight mechanically. The ebonite handle spins freely and the click is nice and smooth. There is a tiny bit of residue to the interior of the spool which a simple cleaning should take care of nicely. The ribbed brass foot is very short at approximately 2 1/2" and is shaped to a "canoe" profile and I suspect this was not the factory original and was added later. The reel packs into an excellent Hardy leather block case with the initials "W.L.L." stamped into the top.
