For sale - The most outstanding presentation set offered here to date, the pieces are even marked "Special". The rod is based on the Dickerson 761510 and Daryll Whitehead pulled out all of the stops when putting this together. This is a one of a kind boxed set fit for a CEO or just someone who likes the best.
The reel is a Bellinger/Saracione 3" RHW but can be changed to LHW. The sideplates are the same wood as the reelseat, redwood burl and were made by Bill Bennett at Bellinger. The reel foot, arbor, and side nut are brass and the foot is marked Special. The rims are nickel silver and the reel was assembled by Whitehead when he worked at Bellinger. The crank handle is pure ivory. The box is made entirely of highly figured birds-eye maple with a hand engraved NS cartouche in top. All of the engraving was done by Paolo Barbetti.
