For sale here is a nice Dingley 3" caged spool fly reel made for retailer Carter & Co. This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has an early fixed caliper check, which is nicely blued and nice and strong for a three inch reel. Correct original and un-filed smooth brass foot. No line grooves. There are no cracks. Original ivorine handle spins freely. No end play or wobble. As with most leaded Dingleys, the majority of the original leading remains on the reel. Reel has the D stamp inside.
