For sale here is a super nice Dingley 3" caged spool fly reel, made for Turnbull. This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has an early fixed caliper check, which is nicely blued and is adequately strong. Correct original and un-filed smooth brass foot. No line grooves. There are no cracks or dings. Original ivorine handle spins freely. No significant end play or wobble. As with most leaded Dingleys, the majority of the original leading remains on the reel. Reel is stamped D6.

You won't find another reel like this with a more superior original exterior finish. A true collector's reel!
