For sale here is a very nice wide drum Dingley 3 3/4" fly reel made for Malloch of Perth (similar in style to a Hardy Perfect). Stamped 15 throughout. This reel resembles the post-war Dingley shop, or maybe later Walker Bampton era. This RHW reel is in excellent+ condition and comes with a nice and strong dual pawl/spring check. Tensioner works perfectly. Gear teeth and pawls still very sharp. Un-filed original smooth brass reel foot with two screws.Great condition ebonite handle that spins freely. The reel has no wobble or end play -- super tight reel. No cracks or chips. Majority of original leading remaining. A very solid fishing reel! Weighs 11.45 oz.
