For sale here is a Dingley 3" Perfect Style Fly Reel made for gunmaker and tackle dealer Westley Richards of Birmingham. Stamped D2 and 2 throughout. RHW. Retailer stamped on winding plate. This excellent+ condition reel is RHW and comes with a nice and strong single check from the late 1920's / early 1930's. Brass line guide included on this one also. Knurled tensioner works perfectly. Gear teeth and pawl still very sharp. Un-filed original smooth brass reel foot with two screws still has original lacquer finish. Great condition ebonite handle spins freely. The reel has no wobble and zero end play - a super tight reel! No cracks/chips or prior repairs. Reel weighs 7 oz. and the reel foot is 2.5 inches long.
