For sale here is an Edward Vom Hofe Model 423 "Restigouche" Salmon fly reel in excellent+ overall condition. Size 4/0 - 3 7/8" diameter with a width of 1 11/16". This reel carries the '83 patent date on the oil cap. German silver safety bands and pair of roller bars. The reel has a strong adjustable drag with the seven detent arrowhead pointer with red dot indicators. The reel foot is full length, unaltered, and has the model and size stamp along with serial number H258 (made in 1915).

The reel appears totally original and free or repair or restoration work.
