For sale here is a F.E. Thomas Browntone Streamer Special. 9' feet, 6 5/8 oz.. Three pieces with two tips. The rod is in excellent+ restored condition. All sections are straight and full length. Attractive swelled butt. Beautiful agate stripping guide. Dark brown silks with black and gold jasper tipping at the winding check and male ferrules. Dark pumpkin colored cane. Blued ferrules size 18/64 and 11/64 with an excellent fit. Very nice medium fast action. Western style grip with a bit of ridging. Aluminum down-locking reel seat over walnut. The blued butt cap shows some honest wear. Original green bag and brass capped tube. A great classic rod well suited for big rivers, big bugs, and lots of wind.
