For sale here is a FE Thomas Special bamboo rod 8' 3/2 for a 4wt. The rod has been refinished. Nice medium action. One tip section is short by 4 1/2". The grip is slightly ridged. Ferrule fit is good. Weighs 3 1/2 oz. 10/15 ferrules. 7 and 8 are stamped on the butt cap. Red agate stripping guide, golden silk windings with green edges, reverse English snake guides, hookkeeper, short half wells grip, cork reel seat with bright nickel silver ring and pocketed butt cap stamped FE Thomas Special Bangor, ME.
