Reference Vise Features:

Made in Japan.
Designed with a sense of unity with other tying tools made by C&F.
Equipped with a jaw with a built-in magnet that makes it easy to temporarily hold the hook.
Jaw height can be adjusted during tying with the link arm mechanism.
A temp hanger is included so that you can keep track of the tied fly without losing sight of it.
Equipped as standard with a material clip that can hold tinsels and wires attached to the hook shank so that they do not get in the way.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
