A nice HMH vise, this one manufactured by API after Bill Hunter of Hunter Angling Supplies sold the company to them. Fixed head chassis and the jaws appear to be in excellent condition. The base is heavy solid brass. Very high quality build that set the standard for fly tying vises of the day.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
