For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod -- 7 1/2 feet with two sections and two tips for a six-weight line. Serial number 3886. The rod is in excellent+ and very lightly used original condition. All sections are full length and straight.

Chestnut wraps and gold tipping. Carbide stripping guide. Script remains clean and bold. Ring hook keeper. E.C. Powell style full-wells grip with only light soiling. Bright aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a mortised cork spacer. The is a very small chip in the bakelite butt cap. The ferrules are size 13/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs a lean 3.30 oz. Terrific medium-fast action. It doesn't get much better. Original bag and labeled tube.
