For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod - 8 feet for a 4 weight line. Serial no. 4224. Excellent+ condition. All sections are full length and straight.
Beautiful varnished finish with chestnut wraps and gold tipping. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. Ring hook keeper. Reverse half wells grip 6" in length with mild soiling. Bright aluminum up-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured spacer. The ferrules measure 12/64 with a perfect fit. A very versatile rod, the action is medium fast. Labeled 3 5/8 oz. with an actual weight of 3 3/4 oz. Includes the original red rod bag and labeled tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
