For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod in excellent+ condition - 8 feet for a 5 weight in the standard 2/2 format, labeled 3 7/8 oz. Serial number 4134 delivered in the mid-1970s. This rod has been fished very sparingly and well taken care of. Carbide stripping guide, wrapped in brown thread with gold trim. Full wells grip, uplocking aluminum reel seat with gorgeous zebra spacer. Includes original red bag and labeled aluminum tube. Label is in excellent condition as well. Varnish is in excellent condition.
