For sale here is an amazing Hardy Palakona "Gladstone" bamboo rod, handmade in Alnwick, England by Calum Gladstone. This one is 7 feet in length, two sections with one tip for a four weight line. Serial no. 2BB207674. Mint unused condition. Beautifully flamed and varnished cane with striking golden nodes. Chestnut brown silks. Peach-colored agate stripping guide. U-shaped hook-keeper. The step-down ferrules are size 12/64 and fit together perfectly. Fine wooden-topped, cork ferrule plug. Cigar grip 4 3/4" in length. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. Medium fast action. The rod weighs 3 3/4 oz. Original Hardy bag (with ferrule plug pocket) and original Cordura covered Hardy rod tube.
