For sale here is an amazing Hardy Palakona "Gladstone" bamboo rod, handmade in Alnwick, England by Calum Gladstone. This one is 7 feet in length, two sections with one tip for a four weight line. Serial no. 2BB207674. Mint unused condition. Beautifully flamed and varnished cane with striking golden nodes. Chestnut brown silks. Peach-colored agate stripping guide. U-shaped hook-keeper. The step-down ferrules are size 12/64 and fit together perfectly. Fine wooden-topped, cork ferrule plug. Cigar grip 4 3/4" in length. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. Medium fast action. The rod weighs 3 3/4 oz. Original Hardy bag (with ferrule plug pocket) and original Cordura covered Hardy rod tube. Don't miss out on this one as there aren't many of these Gladstone's floating around on the secondary market!
