For sale here is a scarce Hardy Palakona "The Fairy" bamboo rod. Nine and a half feet, three sections with two tips. The rod is completely original and in good condition. The varnish shows some softening, but isn't overly objectionable. All sections are full-length and straight. Green silks with full intermediates. Hardy's "Screwgrip" reel fittings. Hardy's "Stud" lockjoints. Serial number E17022 made in 1929. Complete with wooden ferrule plugs. Comes with its original Hardy bag, tube and tip tube. The rod weighs 6 1/8 oz and the ferrules are 13/64 and 19/64 with a pleasing fit.
