A Hardy Palakona Phantom fly rod, 8' 2-piece,1-tip in construction with a nice medium action. Marked "JH 8' Regd. trade Mark, Palakona, 'the Phantom', #6" (as well as what appears to be "2h5cm" though it's difficult to make out the script). Slightly soiled blunt cigar grip with all cork seat and aluminum ring and pocket cap. Pocket cap stamped "made by Hardy's England". Varnished light colored cane with 3 up node pattern. Wrapped black with red edges. Oxidized step ferrules. Put up in a colorful plaid bag and no tube.
