A Hardy Cascapedia 8/9 fly reel, 3 3/4" diameter and set up for LHW. This is one of the current versions of this model. It appears to be unfished. The reel weighs 12.1 ounces on my scale. Classic S-handle design. Black anodized sideplates with a silver matte finish frame and spool. In an homage to the original version, the reel has three medallions set into the front plate. The disc drag is adjusted via a dial on the backplate. Made in England. Serial "B78918" stamped into the side of the foot. The reel packs into a black zipper fleece lined pouch.
