A nice early Hardy Hercules brass reel in 3" size. This reel boasts the rod-in-hand logo as well as the typical Hardy oval stamp from the period. Good overall condition with a great patina to the brass and nice straight full length feet. There is one dent to the sideplate but it does not impact the reel's mechanics which are nice and smooth with a satisfying click. The ivorine handle spins freely. Comes in a leather zipper pouch.
