A very nice 2 7/8" Hardy Perfect, set up for RHW. Circa 1930's reel with a duplicated MKII check. Excellent condition with minor cosmetic wear throughout (as you'd expect from a 90 year old reel) but no major defects of any sort. The red/orange agate line guide is unblemished with no cracks. The ribbed brass foot is unaltered and the ebonite handle spins freely. The rim tensioner works perfectly throughout its spring adjustment range. The initials "TAG" (Thomas Armstrong) are stamped on the inside of the spool. A very nice example of this classic. The reel packs into a non-original but nice leather case with a trout figured into the top.
