A Hardy Perfect Salmon Reel in 3 3/4" size and set up for the typical RHW. Earlier leaded finish model but much of the finish has been removed with the result being some mild roughness to the surface finish from very minor corrosion. Duplicated MK II check. The initials "TA" (Thomas Appleby) are stamped into the inside of the winding plate. Good used condition overall with no issues that I could find. Unmolested ribbed brass foot. The tensioner functions perfectly throughout its range. The spool/spindle fit is nice and tight. The ebonite handle spins freely as it should. The reel comes in a leather square box (though the strap is broken). Some fresh lubricant to the inside and some overdue protectant to the exterior and this reel is ready for many more years of service.
