A very nice early Hardy Perfect in ultra rare LHW! 2 7/8" diameter and dating to the 1930's. The reel is in excellent mechanical condition with no rubbing, no spool wobble, and it reels as if new. Original screw and unaltered foot. Foot fits most modern rods. No line guard. Cosmetically the reel has one small bit of corrosion and a couple scratches from screw removal. The reel retains about 70% of it’s original leading. As Hardy fans know, finding a pre-war reel in true LHW is as hard as it gets, and this one is a very fine example!
