A Hardy Uniqua in 4" salmon size, this one currently set up to favor LHW. Duplicated Mark II style check with a telephone latch. The initials "RR" (Robert Richardson) are stamped on the inside of the frame, and he worked at Hardy from approximately 1938-1950. The reel's leaded patina has been cleaned/removed leaving it bright, though the underlying metal is in great shape with no pitting or corrosion which sometimes happens as a result. Excellent overall condition free of any major defects. Ebonite handle. Minor wobble to spool. Ribbed brass foot approximately 3 1/2" in length. The reel packs into a canvas LL Bean zipper pouch.
