For sale here is a H.L. Leonard Model 39 bamboo rod. 7'6" in length for a 5 weight line. One tip section remains. Serial number 2379. Built during the Ted Simroe era. The rod weighs 3.65 oz. and is in excellent condition. All sections are full-length and straight. Down-locking aluminum reel seat. Deep red wraps with green edge at winding check and male ferrules. The ferrules are 12/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent. Medium action. The cork is only very lightly soiled and in excellent shape. Rod comes with replacement bag and original labeled aluminum tube.
