For sale here is a HL Leonard Model 39 post-fire bamboo rod from the Ted Simroe era. Serial #1658. The rod is in excellent original condition and weighs 3 5/8 oz. 7'6 2/2 for a five weight line. The ferrules are size 12/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent. Bright down-locking reel seat. Bright ferrules. Blued guides and tip tops. Ceramic stripping guide insert. The cigar grip is in fine condition. Original bag with stiffener and original brass-capped tube before they started using the red labels.
