HL Leonard Model 39H Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #6

For sale here is a HL Leonard Model 39H bamboo rod from the mid-70s (Simroe-era). 7 1/2 feet, 2/2 marked for a 6wt line. Excellent condition. All sections are straight and full-length. Rod weighs 4 1/8 oz. Size 13/64 ferrules and the ferrule fit is excellent. Clear wraps tipped maroon. Bright hardware. Uplocking reel seat with butternut insert. Ceramic stripping guide insert. The half-wells grip is smooth but slightly soiled and has some varnish on it for some unknown reason. I'll let the future owner of the rod decide whether to address this cosmetic cleaning or not. Includes original yellow bag with stiffener as well as the original labeled aluminum tube.
