A very nice Charlton 8500 Signature Series 1.2 fly reel with three additional spare spools. Excellent used condition, with a few small signs of use here and there but nothing particularly notable. Right hand retrieve. The original owner's name is engraved on the back drag adjuster plate in white script. 3 3/4" diameter with a 1.2" spool width and the reel weighs 10 ounces. Designed to hold a WF10-WF12 with 200+ yards of backing. Type III black anodized throughout. With Jack Charlton’s sealed carbon fiber drag, this is arguably one of the best saltwater models designed to handle anything you can throw at it. And with three full spare spools and a quick change process, you could have an entire arsenal of lines ready to go at a moment's notice! The reel and all spools come in zippered cordura cases.
