A excellent Charlton 8500 Signature Series 0.8 fly reel in mint condition. LHW. Carbon fiber drag. The 0.8 spool can fit a WF8+150 30# or a WF10+160 20#. Comes with its original cordura reel pouch and a spare spool. Known by anglers and collectors as the flagship model of the Charlton stand-alone saltwater fleet. Available in three widths, .8, 1.2 and 1.6, each size includes the legendary sealed, self-adjusting carbon fiber disk drag, includes over 9-square inches of surface area, and boasts five, oversized aerospace precision bearings. A large arbor design gives the angler over 1 foot of line retrieve per revolution. Meticulously coated with a high-polished, deep black Type III anodized finish with matte reliefs.
