A nice Charlton 8550C fly reel with the scarce Offshore spool. Right hand retrieve. The spool is in near mint condition and the frame is in good used condition with one area near the crossbar with some light rim rash. 4 1/2" diameter with a 1.2" spool width and weighing 13.2 ounces. The offshore spool has fins machined into the rear to help dissipate heat more rapidly from long runs. The capacity is for a WF12F and 470 yards of 30# or significantly more GSP. Deep black Type III anodized finish with matte reliefs and fully machined from high-grade aluminum and steel. This is one of Jack's most well-known and highly regarded models, given its quality, durability, and configurability. The sealed carbon fiber disk drag is self-adjusting and has over 9-square inches of surface area and the large arbor design gives the angler over one foot of line retrieve per revolution. Comes with its original green cordura pouch and the original instruction and warranty cards inside.
