A nice Charlton 8550C fly reel with the bonefish spool. Set up for LHW. Completely mint condition, this reel has barely left the pouch, if ever! Serial number 8550-9785. 4 1/2" diameter with a 1 3/16" spool width. The capacity for this model/spool combination is listed as WF 7/8/9 and anywhere from 200 to 290 yards 20 lb backing. Catalog weight of 11.7 ounces. The sealed carbon fiber disk drag is self-adjusting and has over 9-square inches of surface area. Excellent all-black type-III hard anodizing except for the center medallion and the counterweight which are done in chrome. The reel is packed in the original padded green cordura pouch and the original box with paperwork. A highly sought-after Charlton model here, it doesn't get much better than this for chasing big bonefish.
