For sale here is a scarce Jenkins 50th Anniversary Quad bamboo rod. Model P480. Mint original condition with plastic still on the grip. 8' 2/2 for a 5 or 6 weight line. Impregnated. The rod has "a powerful, parabolic action similar to a Paul Young Para 15" as described by Steve Jenkins. Medium flamed cane with deep burgundy silks. Oxidized Phillipson step-down style ferrules in size 14/64. Black anodized aluminum internal locking reel seat based on the classic Granger up-locking reel seat. Jenkins trademark cherry wood insert. The rod weighs 4 5/8 oz. Original bag and original powder coated black aluminum tube with brass cap. There is a small dent 3/4 up the tube but does not hinder holding/protecting the rod in any way. Delightful dry fly action on the medium side of medium fast. A rare find indeed and one you don't see often, even in the finest of collections!
