For sale here is a John Gallas "Caddis" 7'6" bamboo fly rod, made for a 5 weight line. The rod is in excellent plus condition. Moderately flamed cane with transparent burgundy silks. Black and gold tipping at the male ferrules, female butt ferrule, and winding check. Classic cigar grip 6" in length. Blued cap and ring reel seat over a walnut spacer. Blued guides and ferrules. Weighs 3 7/8 oz. Size 14/64 and 10/64 ferrules.The ferrule fit is nice and tight. The rod features a crisp, fast action well suited for modern casting styles. This would make for a fine all around rod for the average trout stream or creek and the three piece construction lends itself to easy travel. Original bag and labeled tube.
