For sale here is John Pickard's rendition of the Dickerson 8014 Guide bamboo rod. John calls it the Model 8026 Guide - 8'0" 2/2 for a 6 weight line. The rod is in excellent condition.
Medium-dark cane finish with transparent caramel wraps and black tipping. Blued guides and ferrules. Bronzed loop hook keeper. Bright hexagonal nickel silver winding check. Reverse half wells grip with a very gentle taper. The cork is mildly soiled. Bright aluminum down-locking reel seat over a walnut spacer with a nickel silver butt cap. The ferrules are size 14/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs 5.10 oz. The rod has a wonderful, quick and powerful dry-fly action just a tad on the fast side of medium-fast. Comes with original bag and tube with brass fittings. A great opportunity to land one of John's fine rods. You will not be disappointed!
