For sale here is a Julius Vom Hofe made size 3 hard rubber reel made for retailer Dame Stoddard. 2 1/2" diameter, 1" wide spool. Hard rubber side plates, half-crank style handle and nickel plated brass hardware. Stamped with "Dame, Stoddard & Kendall Boston" on the head plate. Condition is good, with blemish free and unpolished hard rubber, strong constant click and full length, unaltered german silver foot. The reel winds with a bit of a hitch, which can be fixed by a competent reel mechanic. Right or left hand retrieve, neutral bias. All screws are in good condition.
