For sale here is an early Julius Vom Hofe / Leonard Mills Model 44 raised pillar fly reel in excellent original condition. 2 5/8" diameter measured pillar to pillar. No cracks in the hard rubber side plates. Nickel silver foot and handle arm. Excellent click, maybe the nicest drag tension I've ever experienced with these reels. The perforated reel foot has been filed. The on/off click switch works as intended. Stamped "Leonard Mills" on headplate. Another great raised pillar reel by one of the best!
