A Lyle Dickerson 8015 Guide Special model fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tips, and built for what I would likely rate as a #6 or #7. Labeled '52. Butter color cane done in a three up node pattern. Fairly good condition but the top snake guide on one tip needs a re-wrap and one flat halfway up the butt has a very heavy watermark with a tiny bit of cane erosion. The main wraps are brown with black edges. The stripping guide is a perfection and the guides are chrome or stainless. Oxidized step ferrules. The ferrule fits are good and the sections are nice and straight. The grip is 6" long and done in a half wells profile. The reel seat is a downlocking screwlock with a nickel silver pocket cap. The pocket cap has a ferrule mounted in the bottom of the pocket cap. No sign of a fighting butt and there must have been a detachable plug that brought the rod to its full 8' length. The varnished wood spacer is walnut. The rod packs in a light brown fuzzy bag and the original tube (which is missing the top).
